Meet the Mompreneur
My name is Araceli, and I make cakes and treat tables. I’m also looking to expand my business into party decorations too!
What Inspired Chelly’s Sweet Co
I started making cakes in 2020 when Covid started. It was my daughter’s birthday and I didn’t know how the bakeries were operating, so I got on YouTube, watched many tutorials, and made her cake! It was a colorful vanilla cake with trolls. I also made her a balloon arch.

Biggest Challenge as a Mom & Business Owner
The biggest challenge I believe is getting out there more. Since my kids have a busy schedule and I also work full-time, I feel unseen sometimes, and since I have to pass up pop-up events, I feel like I don’t get to put my business out there as much as I’d like to.
Her Advice to Other Moms
